Manpreet Kaur is a student of Symbiosis Law School, Noida, constituent of Symbiosis International University, Pune. Manpreet has been actively involved in issues related to child rights and women empowerment, works as a member of ‘YUVA Connect’ started by PRAYAS Institute of Juvenile Justice. The members of YUVA Connect give counseling to the delinquent juveniles for their complete reformation and morale enhancement. She has worked on two extensive empirical Research projects and has been felicitated by Retd. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arijit Pasayat (former Judge, Supreme Court of India) for preparing the Report on the topic “Efficacy of Increased Age of Male Juveniles” at the Panel Discussion on Defining Juvenile in Conflict with Law: Limits of ‘Objective Definition’ under JJA, 2000 held at Symbiosis Law School, Noida. She has also worked as a Official Project Coordinator with IPAN and prepared another Report titled, "Juvenile Justice System in India: Policy Recommendations for Juvenile Homes". She has also worked with NGO’s like Aarohan & PRAYAS.
Manpreet has participated in various Prestigious Conferences, Seminars and Moot Court Competitions held in various Universities in India. She aspires to be a Litigating Lawyer and hence has interned under various Litigating Lawyers and at prestigious Law Firms in India.
